A life-long resident of the mossy Pacific Northwest, I've loved stories since I could string words together. I dreamed of being a writer, but for years contented myself with private scribbles and the occasional work-adjacent writing project. Until it wasn’t enough.
In 2015, I started grabbing every spare moment around the hours of a full-time job to write and the dream re-emerged. When I had a couple of manuscripts in various stages of completion, I left a much-loved career to devote myself to writing and screwing up the courage to seek representation for my first novel. (Turns out, it’s not enough to write a book; at some point the work wants to be shared.)
I write Women’s Fiction, which means stories about women (and sometimes men) at various stages of life who are evolving—or need to—and how they navigate the process. Being of the belief that humans grow best when our edges scratch up against others, my stories are always relational, and sometimes romantic. The explosions are (usually) emotional, food is always involved, and I expect my novels will land on the TBR pile you keep for when you need to cozy up and leave the chaos of the world for a hot minute.
When not writing or engaged in finding a happy home for my book, you’ll find me puttering among my roses and herbs, looking at the stars, cooking something delicious for my husband and daughter, or storytelling on the platform known as The Sims 4.
